From: Louis A. Lopez Hi David, My name is Louis A. Lopez. I was searching the web to find out if the school was still around and came upon the website. I looked for my name on the House Kids List but I am not listed. I attended the school from 1949 through 1952. My roommate was Charles McKeathen. I decided to search for childhood pictures and came across a few from school that I have attached. Also, I noticed on one of the Sisters picture had a "?". Her name is Sister Jane Francis. She taught printing and leather work the class was called manual training. I am # 30 in the football photo. The web site you have put together is set up real nice. I have attached a current photo of me. Sincerely, Louis A. Lopez
From: David T. Feliciano Hi Louis, It's always good to hear from a former "House Kid" and it's very nice when I hear from someone I hung out with. But, I guess you couldn't recognize my name and place a face to my name. I'm the same way, bad remembering names and faces. I hung out with Oscar and Felix Santana and had five brothers at St Agnes (Pastor, Carlos, Caesar, Peter and Benjie). I remember you as "Louie" Lopez and I remember "Charlie" Mckeathen. I also remember that, after we left the "House", we hung out in Manhattan Westside on Broadway around 103 to 110 streets. You had a girl friend from the neighborhood and she had blonde hair. I think you married her and had a baby together. Is that correct? I'll enter your name on the House Kids List. Please let me know if it's OK to include your email address. I'll also post your photos on our alumni website. You should watch for my distribution of St. Patrick's Day Edition of WebNews. The football team photo you sent me is already posted on the website (click on the link for "Do you know these Kids?") It's good to hear from you.
An old friend,
From: Louis A. Lopez Hi David, After looking your picture up I remember us hanging out together at St Agnes and in Manhattan. Yes, I go by "Louie". I did marry my girlfriend Kathy and had a daughter. In 1959 I moved to San Diego and went into offset printing. This is what Sister Jane Frances taught me in Manual Training. I started at General Dynamics and then opened up a business out of my home with my second wife and had another daughter. Today I own a small print shop that my two daughters work at with me. I am partially retired enjoying senior softball four days a week. Yes, you can include this email address it's my daughters. Would you happen to know anything about Felix Santana? I lost touch with him when I moved out to California. It's good to hear from you also, Sincerely, Louie Lopez
From: David T. Feliciano Louie, I saw Felix Santana at a St Agnes Alumni reunion picnic a few years ago. He was with John Diaz. I don't have an email address for Felix but you can email John at ResaKover@aol.com
