Pastor P. Feliciano

Pastor “Pat” Feliciano, 83, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014, after a brief illness.  Born in the Bronx, NY, Pat served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and in Vietnam.  He was honorably discharged in Fort Hood, Texas, as a Command Sergeant Major, after almost 30 years of service.  He lived in Fort Hood some thirty years before moving to Carrollton 14 years ago. 

Early in his military career, Pat volunteered to go to the front line to secure an opportunity to return to Japan to marry the “love of his life” Shigeko “Maeda” Feliciano.  Maeda preceded Pat in death March 25, 1999.  In addition, Pat is preceded in death by his parents Pastor and Juana Lopez Feliciano, two grandsons, Ian and Colby and siblings, Rachel, Cesar, Carlos, and Moses.

Pat leaves three sons to cherish his memories, Anthony Feliciano (Renee) of Washington State, Daniel Feliciano (Genie) of Smithfield, VA, and Ronald Feliciano (Laura) of Carrollton.  He will be sorely missed by his grandchildren, Amber Nunez, Danielle Gutieras, Belisha Gutieras, Michael McAlister, Alexander, Akira, Maeda, and Samuel Feliciano; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Mia Nunez; and siblings Raymond, Peter, Benjamin, Naomi, George and David Feliciano; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. 

After his military career, Pat worked for Central Texas College as a private tutor.  Later he gave of himself to anyone who wanted to be mentored.  A beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, Pat will be remember for his passion of dancing, listening to Sinatra and watching old movies.

A memorial service will be held 5 pm, Thursday, March 13, 2014, in the home of Daniel and Genie Feliciano.  Burial will take place in June in Municipal Cemetery, Killeen, Texas.

Arrangements are in the care of Colonial Funeral Home.
